There are universal needs that employees look for in a leader during uncertain times. Gallup has identified 4 specific needs.


1) Trust – just because you want to be a trusted leader doesn’t mean that you will be. 4 starting tips are offered.

2) Compassion – acknowledge that these are uncertain times with pressures coming from various directions.

3) Stability – Make your presence known, share information, stand up for your team, identify projects they can support.

4) Hope – not necessarily quotes or daily mantras; instead provide hope that things will improve; this period is temporary.
